Darklight Studios
Darklight Studios is a digital video production company based on the Gold Coast of Australia. Started in 2005 by Dan Jensen, the company was originally called 137 Productions.
After several short films, Darklight Studios created a music video in 2010 for local band Misdirection, just before it was announced the band were to break up. In 2011 a music video was created for industrial metal band Darkc3ll's debut single "Hate Anthem", a video that was received very well and was shown on both Rage and MTV. In 2010, the company was also utilized for the making of the comedy feature, It's Brisbane Tonight - Wow! where Dan served as director of photography and Mike Beljak as the sound recordist. It was also announced in 2010 that Darklight Studios would produce its first feature film entitled ''Pray For Dawn'', however progress on the movie halted when the writer decided to suddenly (and without any notice) pull the plug on everything and select a whole new crew. Unfortunately since nothing had been signed and the project taken on in good faith, there was nothing that could be done.
